Description

Here comes the final chapter of your adventure.

Take your time to unfold your packrafts, inflate them calmly, assemble your paddle, and adjust your life jacket—you are now ready to glide into the “Savoyard Amazon.”

The lônes, these wild side channels of the Rhône, will carry you into the heart of a peaceful and preserved world.
Let yourself drift silently, blending into nature: here, every quiet movement may reward you with the magic of a fleeting encounter with a coypu, a European beaver, or many bird species.
Feel the atmosphere shift—the pace slows, nature takes over, and each paddle stroke gently brings you closer to the end of this beautiful journey.

If you touch the bottom, do not force it: get out carefully, walk a few steps, then get back on the water calmly.

❗️ After passing through a series of small wild channels, you will reach the main branch of the Rhône’s backwaters, with the Lucey bridge in sight.
Be sure to stay on the left: just after the bridge, take the sharp left turn that will lead you to the final channel—the most beautiful and the narrowest—bringing your journey to a close in an even wilder, more secret setting.

⚠️ Warning: it is strictly forbidden to continue straight after the bridge. A few hundred meters further lies a dangerous drop. Do not approach it under any circumstances.

Make the most of this final timeless moment.

We will be waiting for you between 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM at the shallow crossing point, where our team will be there to collect the equipment and take you back to your cars or to the train station.
