Stage 8: Hike to La Chapelle-Gaceline

Once you arrive in La Gacilly… you have two options:

📷 Option 1 – Take time to wander through the charming village of La Gacilly and enjoy its famous photo festival. Stroll through the streets, discover open-air exhibitions nestled among flower-filled houses, and let yourself be inspired by works from artists around the world.
For added comfort, you can drop off your bags with us beforehand so you won’t be burdened during your visit.

🚶‍♀️ Option 2 – For the more adventurous, extend the journey with an additional loop of about 2.5 hours. Set off on foot along the banks of the Aff: the trail offers beautiful viewpoints and perfect opportunities to take photos. The atmosphere is peaceful, with reflections on the water and unspoiled nature all around.

After about one hour of walking, you will reach another launch point, located just opposite the Manoir de Trégaray.

This is where you can reinflate your packraft before heading back onto the water for the final stage of your adventure! 🌿🚣‍♂️
