Stage 7: Sail along the Aff to La Gacilly

For those who choose to set off on the water, the trickiest part is finding the launch point! Inflate your packraft on the banks of the Aff, where you'll have more space. To launch, there is a small beach on the left with a narrow path leading down to it (it may be hidden by vegetation). Take the time to find it and launch from this beach.

Once you are settled in your boat, head off to the left. Let yourself drift gently and enjoy the beauty of the surrounding landscape: a mixture of wild nature, accompanied by the sound of birds singing all around you.

After about 4 kilometers of peaceful paddling, you will reach the charming port of La Gacilly. To disembark, use the wooden pontoon dedicated to kayaks and canoes (on the right side of the pontoon)—this is the easiest way to reach the shore and continue your adventure on foot in complete tranquility. 🌿
