Stage 4: Scenic hike to the canal

This morning, you will take the charming Cul du Bois path, a მშვიდ, shaded trail that passes through picturesque villages and a mossy forest.

You will follow this path before turning onto a trail on your left, which will gradually lead you down to the lake.

Once on the water, you will paddle towards the northern part of the lake, where the entrance to the famous Canal de Savières is located.

As this section of the route is very busy during the high season, we recommend setting off early—ideally before 9:00 AM. This way, you can enjoy the calm, the soft morning light, and all the magic of the canal… before the arrival of pedal boats and motorboats!
