Description

In the backwaters of the Rhône, especially around Lucey, nature reveals itself quietly yet abundantly.

These wild channels are home to remarkable wildlife. With a bit of patience, you may spot coypu gliding silently through the reeds, or, more rarely, the elusive European beaver—true engineers of the river.

Birdlife is everywhere: grey herons standing still along the banks, flashes of color from kingfishers, wild ducks, and many other species inhabit these preserved environments.

Here, everything depends on subtlety: slow down, observe, blend in… and let nature come to you.
